Elina Helenius エリナ ヘレニウス
フィンランドを代表するテキスタイルデザイナーの一人であるエリナ ヘレニウス。
ヘルシンキ芸術大学（現・アアルト大学）を卒業後、25年にわたりテキスタイル分野でフィンランドおよび国内外の様々なクライアントと仕事をしてきました。
2018年よりラプアン カンクリの内部デザインチームの一人として活躍しています。
リネン製品では、春から夏にかけてのフィンランドの生命力に溢れた草原の風景からインスピレーションを得てデザインされたNIITTY（ニーテュ）や、ランダムなラインで表現されたリズミカルでスタイリッシュな印象のPAUSSI（パウッシ）。
ウール製品では、北欧の空で様々な表情を見せるオーロラの美しさを織りで表現したREVONTULI （レボントゥリ）ブランケットや、大胆なグリッドを用いたパターンながらベーシックなカラーがインテリアにも取り入れやすいHUVILA（フヴィラ）ブランケットなどがあります。
フィンランドの自然からインスピレーションを得てデザインされたものから、空間の中での見え方を計算したグラフィカルなデザインまで、機能性と美しさが調和したタイムレスなデザインを目指しています。
